The 2023 San Jose State Spartans football team represented San Jose State University in the Mountain West Conference during the 2023 NCAA Division I FBS football season. The Spartans were led by Brent Brennan in his seventh and final year as head coach. They played their home games at CEFCU Stadium in San Jose, California.[1] The San Jose State Spartans football team drew an average home attendance of 16,804 in 2023.[2] The season had a 7–6 record, including 6–2 in Mountain West Conference games, and a share of the Mountain West regular season championship, and appearance in the 2023 Hawaii Bowl.[3][4]
