The Dengese, also known as the Ndengese, are an ethnic group from Democratic Republic of the Congo. They speak Bondengese and Lingala.[citation needed]
They go by various names, including Bonkese, Bonkesse, Dekese, Dengese, Dengeses, Ileo, Ndengeses, Ndengse, Ndenkese, and Nkutu.[1]
The population numbers an estimated 12,000 people.[2]
