IPA Pronounciation
Can we get sources for these pronounciations? I have almost never heard the pronounciation for Métis like the ones provided on this article... I have only ever heard it as (May-tee), but to be fair I don't exactly have sources (because I'm not looking for them rn) for this pronounciation either.
I would be surprised if that has been the wrong pronounciation since forever, but if it is, it would be much more understanble with sources for the other forms of pronounciation VINXIS 22:46, 13 July 2025 (UTC)

"Mestees"
"Mestees" is a slang word for Sepoy-style soldiers stationed in Canada, possibly by the Great Mogul emperor of: India, Pakistan etc.
a separate article for "Mestees" is needed.
