Semi-protection at African Americans

I notice you semi-protected African Americans for three months in response to this request (which I was not involved with). However, 1) the request was for extended confirmed protection, not semi-protection, and 2) the article has already been indefinitely semi-protected since January 2017.

Would you please consider either: 1) increasing the protection at that article to extended confirmed protection for 3 months, if that was your intent, or 2) restoring the indefinite semi-protection? Thank you for your consideration. Aoi (青い) (talk) 21:04, 14 November 2025 (UTC)

@Aoi: You are right, I should have (and meant to) apply ECP, not semi-protection. I've applied ECP for three months; thanks for catching that. - Aoidh (talk) 21:22, 14 November 2025 (UTC)

{{pp-extended}}?

I see on the User:Aoidh/ page, you use the template {{pp-extended}}, but I don't think it's really appropriate when it's fully protected instead :D HwyNerd Mike (t | c) 01:59, 19 November 2025 (UTC)

Thanks for catching that, I've made an adjustment to the template used. - Aoidh (talk) 02:09, 19 November 2025 (UTC)
