Information icon Hello, I'm Binksternet, and welcome to Wikipedia. I appreciate your contributions, but in one of your recent edits to Bruce Johnston, it appears that you added original research, which is against Wikipedia's policies. Original research refers to material—such as facts, allegations, ideas, and personal experiences—for which no reliable, published sources exist; it also encompasses combining published sources in a way to imply something that none of them explicitly say. Please be prepared to cite a reliable source for all of your contributions. You can have a look at the tutorial on citing sources. Thank you. Binksternet (talk) 17:49, 19 October 2025 (UTC)

Hi, I wrote a book called The Beach Boys in concert with Jon Stebbins (Backbeat 2013) and then continued to do research, which is posted on my website beachboysgigs.com. I also contributed to the website bellagio10452. If you look on my site, you will see photos and reviews that make abundantly clear that Bruce did not permanently replace Glen Campbell until late May 1965. I have the photos, articles and advertisements and discuss them on the site. Obviously, this is something that few people have bothered to delve into-minutia of the Beach Boys as a touring band...but I did and thought I'd make it more accurate. 108.6.43.38 (talk) 18:01, 19 October 2025 (UTC)
We are not putting your blog into the wiki as it does not carry your name and does not establish itself as the work of a topic expert. See WP:USERG. The book you co-authored would be considered the reliable source, despite your later research. Binksternet (talk) 18:03, 19 October 2025 (UTC)
