Encyclopedia articles need to be written from a neutral point of view, and should refer to a range of independent, reliable, published sources, not just to materials produced by the creator of the subject being discussed. This is important so that the article can meet Wikipedia's verifiability policy and the notability of the subject can be established. If you still feel that this subject is worthy of inclusion in Wikipedia, please rewrite your submission to comply with these policies. | Submission declined on 31 October 2025 by AllWeKnowOfHeaven (talk). This submission's references do not show that the subject qualifies for a Wikipedia article—that is, they do not show significant coverage (not just passing mentions) about the subject in published, reliable, secondary sources that are independent of the subject (see the guidelines on the notability of web content). Before any resubmission, additional references meeting these criteria should be added (see technical help and learn about mistakes to avoid when addressing this issue). If no additional references exist, the subject is not suitable for Wikipedia. Declined by AllWeKnowOfHeaven 2 months ago. |
Agentforce is an agentic ai platform developed by Salesforce.[1][2][3]The platform enables organizations to build and deploy autonomous AI agents to perform business tasks without human intervention.[4][5][6]
Overview
Agentforce operates by providing AI agents that retrieve real-time data, build action plans for specific tasks, and execute those plans autonomously.[7][8][9]It is integrated with Salesforce's existing ecosystem, including Salesforce Data Cloud and Slack, and can be extended to external systems through MuleSoft integration capabilities.[10]
History
Agentforce was first announced at Dreamforce 2024,[11]and became generally available on October 25, 2024.[12][13]
Agentforce 2.0 was announced in December 2024, including “a new library of pre-built agent skills”.[14]Agentforce 2dx was released in March 2025,[15] and was followed by Agentforce 3.0, which added native Model Context Protocol support (MCP) and platform observability.[16][17]Salesforce announced the last version of the platform, Agentforce 360, in October 2025.[6][18]
Some insiders have said recent versions of Agentforce require significant technical skill to use.[19] Salesforce has also drawn criticism for reducing its customer support workforce from 9,000 to 5,000 employees through the deployment of AI agents.[20]
