The ImWerden Library (from German im Werden – "in development") is a Russian-language electronic library founded on 15 August 2000.[1] It is maintained and edited by Andrey Nikitin-Perensky in Munich, Germany.[2] The library offers PDF, MP3, and AVI formats with a focus on high-quality digital editions. It features audio and video recordings of authors reading their own works, including Yesenin, Blok, Mayakovsky, Akhmatova, and Pasternak. The "XXI Century" section publishes texts submitted by authors and selected by the editor. Andrey Nikitin-Perensky stated the library began from his personal reading interests and noted copyright as the main issue. In 2021, he was awarded the professional publishing prize "Bookworm" (ru) in Saint Petersburg.[3]
