Draft:The Benefactress

  • Comment: Much of the coverage looks to come from WP:SPS. I get that this is an extremely niche genre (horror porn) but the coverage will still need to be able to pass muster at the RS noticeboard. A good example of what coverage is needed can be seen at articles like Through the Looking Glass (film). That article still has a lot of issues, but it's a good start as far as what is needed. I would also recommend checking in at Wikipedia:WikiProject Pornography for help finding sourcing as well. ReaderofthePack(formerly Tokyogirl79) (。◕‿◕。) 14:33, 25 November 2025 (UTC)

The Benefactress (an exposure of cinematic freedom) is a 2025 underground experimental, arthouse, pornographic horror film written, edited, produced, and directed by Guerrilla Metropolitana. [1] [2] The film attracted attention because of the strong presence of sexual graphic violence. The Benefactress focuses on the viewers perception of the film by utilising meta-cinema techniques, a small amount of dialogue and high levels of cinematic realism, using only one location and a small handful of actresses to tell a story of agonising and relentless sexual sadism.

The film features scenes of lesbian and non-lesbian rape, torture and humiliation, but also the desire to create beauty through the ugliness of human behaviour. The film focuses on themes of pain, suffering, and the total loss of hope in the pursuit of complete sexual satisfaction.

Plot

The film opens with a prologue explaining how director Guerrilla Metropolitana, following the success of Dariuss, was contacted by a middle-aged woman with respiratory problems from overseas, who was also the wife of a well-known American televangelist. It is then explained that Metropolitana is being hired to make a new film at her expense, on the condition that she be present via video link during filming and therefore be able to watch everything happening live, under the alias of Elektra McBride to protect her own integrity and identity. The film exposes how members of high society can use underground artists like Metropolitana to create unconventional art, while simultaneously protecting themselves with complete anonymity while seemingly claiming to be against it in the name of respectability.

This is followed by a monologue by Juicy X, a large, middle-aged charity worker nicknamed "the benefactress" (due to her kindhearted dedication to helping many abused women). Juicy X stars stars alongside Metropolitana, and thanks Elektra McBride for funding the film. She also explains the director's working method and what it means to make films with him.

Juicy X is then seen alone at home. She hears noises and, alarmed, begins to check the house as it seems there's an intruder. Soon after, it turns out that it's none other than a naked, middle-aged woman held captive while trying to escape. Juicy X takes her by force and puts her in one of the rooms where she rapes her incessantly with various sex tools and subjects her to every form of humiliation and abominable sadism. The film subsequently shows that what the viewer is seeing is nothing more than a homemade film, but that the images of sexual violence are real, and the woman being held prisoner is actually being held captive for the sadistic pleasure of financier Elektra McBride, who watches the rapes on video while masturbating in arousal. Metropolitana, behind the camera also begins appearing as an actor in his own film and takes part in the sexual assault of the captive. Both Metropolitana and Juicy X continue to sexually violate the unnamed victim to the point that the director injects himself with a dose of Pervitin (a strong stimulant used by Nazi soldiers during World War II) to intensify his sexual drive and further violate his victim. He also sodomizes his own actress, Juicy X, while Elektra McBride watches the whole thing, sexually aroused. Despite Juicy X's desperation and humiliation at taking part in the film, she continues under brutal pressure from the director, as for Metropolitana, this is an art that must not be suppressed at any cost. After yet another rape of the captive woman, Metropolitana breaks her neck, killing her instantly, and then performs oral sex on her in front of a cold and indifferent Juicy X, who has now become accustomed to the director's sadistic madness. A cleaner soon after enters the house to clean the rooms and, upon seeing the woman's body on the floor, decides to perform oral sex on her, but is reprimanded by the director and leaves. The film ends with a new victim, unaware of having been tricked into entering the house. After some unwanted sexual advances by Juicy X, she tries to escape but is immediately stopped by Metropolitana, who knocks her out with punches and then begins to sexually assault her, while Juicy X watches, masturbating. Immediately afterward, we see the beginning of a new homemade film, with the new victim forcibly taken to one of the rooms where she will suffer the same fate as the other woman, all under the direct video vision of Elektra McBride, who is ready to become sexually aroused again by what she is about to witness.

Release and critical acclaim

The film was rejected by many cinemas for screening because it was considered extreme and outrageous, but at the same time it was accepted with great enthusiasm by many film clubs of arthouse cinema in various countries around the world. The film was praised for it's artistic quality and extraordinarily unique experimental nature. The Benefactress was distributed on DVD by Blood Pact Films.[3]

Film critic Meredith J. Brown wrote about Metropolitana and The Benefactress calling Metropolitana a "forceful and impenitent visionary".[4] Podcaster and film reviewer Jonas Barnes compared The Benefactress to a Snuff film, stating you cannot get much closer to a snuff movie in todays world of modern cinema. Barnes described the film as "uncompromising and unflinching"[5]

Controversy

The film contains authentic sexual scenes between Metropolitana and co-star Mystery Woman, as well as real erections, masturbation, and even ejaculation. Metropolitana (who also appears as an actor) exposes himself several times, with real erections and masturbation, in one scene, he ejaculates on Juicy X buttocks. Some of the sexual scenes between Metropolitana and the co-star Mystery Woman are real. This was in order to capture total realism. This was confirmed not only by the director himself but also by lead actress Juicy X in an interview for the American podcast Horror Realm.[6]
