James Bouvias Pruitt[1] (born January 29, 1964) is an American former professional football player who was a wide receiver for six seasons in the National Football League (NFL) for the Miami Dolphins from 1986 to 1988 and 1990 to 1991,[2] and the Indianapolis Colts from 1988 to 1989.[3] He played college football for the Cal State Fullerton Titans and was selected by the Dolphins in the fourth round of the 1986 NFL draft.[4] He finished his career in the Canadian Football League (CFL) playing for the Ottawa Rough Riders and Sacramento Gold Miners.[5]
