Your submission at Articles for creation: Derwent Whittlesey (December 23)

Your recent article submission to Articles for Creation has been reviewed. Unfortunately, it has not been accepted at this time. The reason left by ChrysGalley was:
This submission does not appear to be written in the formal tone expected of an encyclopedia article. Entries should be written from a neutral point of view, and should refer to a range of independent, reliable, published sources. Please rewrite your submission in a more encyclopedic format. Please make sure to avoid peacock terms that promote the subject.
The comment the reviewer left was:
There is a run of 13 in the WP:REFBOMB stakes here and that's not helpful to readers nor encyclopedic. There are also two empty sections for the 40s and 50s, and it's best to finish them off first, otherwise that too could be deemed unencyclopedic. Altneratively it may be better to have a stick to a more summarised article to begin with, since you have the obituary and other sources for notability. I don't think it's a lot of work to sort this out, it is an interesting read
Please check the submission for any additional comments left by the reviewer. You are encouraged to edit the submission to address the issues raised and resubmit after they have been resolved.
