Bruno Mars, music video director
Hi Mario, I was wondering if it would be appropriate to include ‘music video director’ in Bruno Mars’ infobox under occupations, since he has directed several of his own videos. Twister Swagger (talk) 13:48, 7 January 2026 (UTC)
- He mostly directs videos for his own songs or collabs. Apart from a couple videos, but he produced or wrote those songs. He is not exactly Hype Williams do you know what I mean? I'm not sure where wikipedia stands on that. If you show me a guideline for that or a similar case we will consider it for sure. I don't want to open a precedent with his article.

Die With A Smile
Hi Mario,
Hope you're doing well.
I've been down with the flu for the past couple of days and haven't had the chance to work on the "Die With a Smile" article recently. I've just made some adjustments to the Critical reception section, but I noticed it has already gone through an initial approval. - One observation, though. Someone added the following sentence to the Comments on the song's placement within Mayhem section: "Gaga has described Mayhem as an intentionally eclectic project that moves between contrasting sounds and moods before ultimately resolving in love, framing the album as a complete experience rather than a strictly cohesive genre piece.". Not sure what was the reason, because the section is about critical opinions, not Gaga's own explanation. That's why we had the quote-box there, as a "side-note", to put those critical opinions into a bit of context.
- Now I feel like that quote-box is kind of redundant. If we keep this sentence, which basically summarizes what Gaga was saying, then we should not also quote her. Sricsi (talk) 10:31, 16 January 2026 (UTC)
- So yes, that was during the FA review. That was a footnote and the reviewer said we should do something about it. CHr0m4tiko0 moved it to the top to make it more clear, to which the reviewer agreed upon. - I do agree with you. We have a couple of options here, wait for the next reviewer to point that out (I'm sure he will); just remove it or ask CHr0m4tiko0 if he is ok with that. I don't want to go on someone's back doing that since he was and still is an important part of this article. The article wouldn't look like today without the three of us, working non-stop on it. - Of course not, I just reverted it. It does make some good pointers which I'm trying to add on and improve, but not major changes like he did and his claim regarding cherry-pikcing is false, mainly when he only left two certifications and not charts.
